For undergraduate students, the Department has tailored a curriculum for students to acquire practical training as well as fundamental knowledge in environmental sciences and engineering, progressing from lower to upper level courses. Furthermore, four Interdisciplinary Programs within School of Environment and Life Sciences are provided to fortify a broader base of career.

Graduates are able to achieve professional certifications in various practices, such as water treatment, air pollution prevention, and waste reject cleaning up technology, toxic chemical substance, environment medication, etc., from the Environmental Protection Administration. The graduates can also participate in the Certification Exam administered by The Examination Yuan for environmental engineer licenses.
